2500 Vortex
pumps feature an impeller recessed 4” from the front of the casing
allowing large solids (up to a 3 1/2” spherical solid) to pass through
the pump with minimum particle size reduction or pump clogging. The
pumps will continue to operate even with gas cut fluids or when the
suction line is only half full. This feature can maintain the level of a
tank by transferring the fluid at the same rate it enters the tank.

pumps are an excellent choice for transferring fibrous materials such as
hay, sugar cane, sewage, etc., which can clog standard pumps. |
