FHE was established in 1976 to distribute oilfield products.  Frank Henry was the principal shareholder and had 25 years experience with Dominion Oilfield Services and Wilson Oilfield Supply prior to starting FHE .

 In 1987 a partnership was formed with Keith Snyder who had worked with several companies including Jones & Laughlin Supply and Mission Manufacturing Co. where he was a North American Sales Manager.  At that time FHE started to function as a distributor for several companies including Worldwide Oilfield Machine, (WOM), Larkin Products, Aztec Manufacturing, Amtex Machine, Halco centrifugal pumps, Pipe Recovery Systems, Inc., Red Wing Service & Supply, Inc., & Reliable Scale.  A number of products are manufactured  for the Wireline industry including Weight Indicators, Wireline Sheaves, Lubricator Riser Assemblies with Hand Unions or Hammer Unions, Grease Heads, Grease Units, Swabbing Equipment
